Apple provides support for Git, but it lags by several major versions. We may install a newer version of Git using one of the following methods: Git Installer for Mac. This process is the simplest way to download the latest version of Git. Visit the official page of git downloads. Choose the download option for Mac OS X. Install Git on Mac OS X There are several ways to install Git on a Mac. In fact, if you've installed XCode (or it's Command Line Tools), Git may already be installed. To find out, open a terminal and enter git -version. $ git -version git version 2.7.0 (Apple Git-66). Download for Mac OS X. Also available for Windows. Git for Windows & Mac. The official stand-alone installer for Git on OS X. Downloads: 15,101. Download for macOS. There are several options for installing Git on macOS. Note that any non-source distributions are provided by third parties, and may not be up to date with the latest source release. Install homebrew if you don't already have it, then: $ brew install git. Apple ships a binary package of Git with Xcode. First go to Mac.GitHub.com and click the download button, but first make sure you have Mac OS X 10.9 or later. You can't download with an earlier version of OS X.

We recommend installing Git through Homebrew andusing the Homebrew tools to keep Git up to date. Homebrew is a great wayto install and manage open source development tools on your Mac from thecommand line.
Install Homebrew and run the following to install anup to date version of Git on your Mac:
> brew install git
Adobe air 20 download mac.
To update your Git install, use Homebrew's upgrade option:
> brew upgrade git
Mac desktop client for gmail account.
A graphical installer for Git on macOS is also available from theofficial Git website.
Linux
